As we are now nearing the end of our Christmas Fairs I bring to your attention our last postal date is Monday 21^st December 2015 in order to receive your parcel before Christmas. I ask that all internet and telephone orders are received by Sunday 20^th December 2015. Many Thanks.

Yorkshire Post July 26 2015

We were over the moon to open our copy of the Yorkshire Post last Saturday to find pictured within the Fashion pages, our Tweed Accessories. The article titled, 'Ahead of the field' was about the approaching CLA Game Fair held at Harewood House this Friday (31st July-2nd Aug). We are excited to be exhibiting within the Rural Crafts Marquee and are looking forward to meeting fellow lovers of Tweed!

Summer Shows June 29 2015

I have just finished this years wedding season alteration, with lots of Brides, Bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride outfits all completed. And so now we have been preparing for this year shows, starting in two weeks time with a local show for us… The Great Yorkshire Show. This year you will find us in the Rural Crafts marquee near the sheep, so if you’re visiting call in to see our fab new snood colours and some of our new ranges we have on offer.

Show Dates March 04 2015

I am currently in the process of making my sister/model her bridesmaid dresses for her upcoming wedding so apologies for not being in touch, but I think its a fair excuse, ha.

However this week I have finally had a chance to update you all on this years show dates that we will be attending for 2015. These can be found under our events page and throughout the year we will be adding to these dates so do keep your eyes peeled!

What a busy couple of months I have had, having just finished the Christmas shows it’s amazing at how they have exceeded all my expectations! I have also been trying to keep up with all the internets orders flying out the door especially at this time of year. This year has been a real tester for me, trying some of the larger shows with my accessories, travelling further afield to reach some of you lovely new customers.

The studio is now closed for Christmas and any new orders received will be posted out after the 25^th December, however if you are still looking for Christmas gifts I have a range of Classic Snoods and Headbands in the following shops:

Autumn Catch up October 20 2014

Well it’s certainly been a while since my last post. So I shall share with you what has been going on in the past few months.

We had a cracking show at Lowther Driving Trials in August. A beautiful Saturday that brought visitors from near and far. Its just a shame the weather didn’t hold out for the Sunday, however those that did show up were determined not to miss out and arrived in waterproofs, wellies and hats. The weekend was a sell out for some of our new unique products which were unpredicted and a scary thought for our next show… Burghley Horse Trials.

Burghley Horse Trials was at the beginning of September and had been one of my many ambitions to attend as a business about 10 years ago when I would go with my horse mad sister… this year I am proud to say I archived that. It was a lot of organising, not only the amount of stock to take but also where we were going to stop, luckily one of our neighbours lent us their trusty caravan for the 4 day event. Again we had a great response and met some lovely new customers as well as meeting customers again from previous shows. It was a total success and an enjoyable experience that over came our expectations.

Since Burghley I have been beavering away making new stock ready for our autumn/winter shows, however we have had some exciting news also:

• The arrival of a new addition to the family farm, our sheep dog pup, Nell. It took a few weeks to name her but we think it rather suits her character as well as being traditional.
• Also my sister Jen, who appears at some of the shows with me and is sometimes persuaded into being my model for photographs. Jen has become engaged, so we have been full of busy attending wedding fairs and trying bridal dresses, this past month, soo different to tweed and fleece!

However I am just about all stocked up with snoods, Jessica’s and Alice scarves at the ready for the colder months ahead. 

We are starting our autumn/winter shows this week at Market Rasen Racecourse with a Shopping Extravaganza in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Then into November we are thrilled to be returning to Wynyard Hall for their Christmas Fair followed by Country Living at Harrogate- a new one for us. And finishing off the year with Durham City Christmas Festival.

Welcome to our Shiny New Website June 20 2014

After a fabulous four days at Bramham International Horse Trials we set the challenge to create an online website for our customers in time for the next event… The Great Yorkshire Show. And I am delighted to say its launching today!! You can now buy online from the secure shop (accepting all major credit cards)

We are ahead of our expected goal, as The Great Yorkshire show will be commencing this coming Tuesday for three days, of which I will be more than happy to see you. If you are visiting you can find us in the Made in Yorkshire Marquee just outside the food hall.

As everything is still very new at this moment in time, I am hoping that were going to keep away from any teething problems, but if you do notice anything amiss please let me know, I would be very thankful for a second pair of eyes (or maybe more).

I will be adding additional colours to our Classic Snoods, Jessica Snoods and Alice Scarf’s throughout the year so keep in touch by creating an account and we will keep you notified as to what is new within our website.
